About News Patterns and Netro City Design & Information Systems, Inc.
Netro City is a privately held company founded in 1998 and located in Manchester, New Hampshire, operating a world wide network of servers dedicated to news intelligence discovery. James Andrus, the founder, had the original idea that news could be made more useful if it was represented with animated graphical imagery. This idea had its roots in the computer aided design (CAD) tools that Andrus used as a structural engineer in Chicago. News Patterns platforms revolutionize news analysis just as CAD revolutionized engineering design. We serve large and small clients around the world.

Our Mission: To provide our clients with a speedy, responsive, and complete intelligence discovery based on the many definitions of news.

Our Unique Technology: News Patterns combines swarm intelligence filtering, pattern recognition algorithms, innovative graphical interfaces, and automatic alerting to provide the best way to discover intelligence hidden in the news.
